New and Improved Peackaging!

by The Green Pea Cookie Team March 27, 2015

Peater likes to roll around. We think that's great, but we realized after our Christmas Surprise that he had been doing a little too much of it in our current packaging. The poor guy would be so stoked to meet you all that often after his long journeys in the mail he would arrive crushed.

Especially if he was gluten free, he would turn into a giant green monster-looking glob (no offense, Peater). It was a sad sight to behold, even though it was still tasty. Meanwhile Dimpea would sometimes arrive de-sleeved.

We want to make sure our cookies reach you in one piece! So, in addition to tweaking our gluten free recipes to make the cookies a little more stable, we've been working very hard on our packaging in preparation for our Kickstarter fulfillment and the launch of our online store this summer.

Take a look!

The box is 100% recyclable and the cardboard biodegradable. As of now, the cookies will be wrapped in a cozy plastic sleeve on the inside of the box so that they'll stay as fresh as possible -- but we're working hard to source compostable plastic here too as soon as we can.

Dimpea and Penelopea have their own custom sleeves, too.

Let us know what you think :)
